Innovation is key when characterizing today’s DSM, furthermore it is also one of the drivers of the Vision 2010 strategy implemented in the clusters we are operating in.
In line with this mindset DSM Powder Coating Resins is hands on, not only in running business developments but also in our market driven platform, New Business Development (NBD). This platform is focusing on being a solution provider to many of our customers by translating their demands into new products.
Currently several innovative projects are running within DSM Powder Coating Resins. First of all HiTone, the high performance polyester resin product line, for powder coatings with an outstanding aesthetical performance. Next to that we are also proud on Veranda which changed the mindset of the industry by providing an epoxy free powder coating system, for applications at the interface between indoor and outdoor. New developments will be introduced in the near future.
Innovation is not only about inventing new and exciting products or creating products which fulfill the demands of our customers in the future. Our product portfolio also contains several outstanding products with their own unique characteristics. An example would be that today’s energy saving trend is not completely new to DSM Powder Coating Resins and several products with low temperature curing systems are already available for our customers for indoor and outdoor applications which fulfill their demands today.
