Axilat™ Range of Redispersible Powders
Axilat latex powders have been developed for mortar formulations. These polymer powders are water redispersible and produced by spray-drying of aqueous polymer dispersions (latex). When a dry mortar containing a latex powder is mixed with water, the latex powder particles redisperse and disaggregate into small primary particles.
The ability of the Axilat latex powders to reform the original dispersion state provides cement or gypsum-based, ready-to-mix mortars with improved performance.
