For TER HELL & Co.GMBH, the pioneering spint has had a century of tradition. In 1908,
Hermann Ter Hell founded the Hamburg enterprise as a speciality supplier of high quality
waxes and established an excellent reputation. Following a takeover by Walter Westphal
in 1938, the internalional development of the family-managed business was strategically
targeted.
Today, TER HELL & CO. GMBH is one of the leading European distributors and traders of
chemical raw materials and is at the same time the holding company of the TER GROUP. In
our global world, we are a reliable and established partner depended on by enterprises in
various industrial sectors. We are equally familiar with conditions in the supply markets as
well as with the demanding requirements of our customers. For this reason, TER HELL &
CO. GMBH supplies high quality raw materials at prices which are excellent value for money

Quality control processes were Introduced by the TER HELL organisation at a very early
stage. From 1993 onwards, we have received certification in accordance with ISO standards,
as attested by the certification body Germanischer Lloyd (GLC). In the area of food
additives, we have also implemented a HAACP system from 2007 onwards.
We operate according to our maxim "growth through performance". We want to prove that we live up to it.
